王仲堃（WANG Chung-Kun），1982年生於台灣高雄，目前居住並工作於台北，畢業於國立臺北藝術大學科技藝術研究所。
王仲堃專注於聲音藝術與動力藝術創作，作品涵蓋音樂、劇場、舞蹈等多個領域，並積極探索跨域合作。他的聲音作品帶有音樂性，試圖將抽象的聲音解放並轉化為具象的音樂。對他而言，聲音不僅是概念的傳達，更蘊含著情感的流動，能夠融入現實場景，讓觀眾以理性分析聲音，同時以感性體驗音樂。他的作品常以動力機械裝置展現聲音與空間的互動，透過旋轉、吐息、閃爍等節奏變化，讓觀者感受到無形聲響的存在。
近年來，他的創作進一步延伸至公共藝術，透過動力雕塑與聲音介入，深入探討人與環境之間的關係，並探索自然運行的規律。他的作品邀請觀眾重新審視日常生活中的聲音與空間，展現獨特的視角與創新表現。
近期個展包括：「流．感－王仲堃個展」（台北當代藝術館，2022-2023）、「微風的午後 – 王仲堃聲音裝置展」（就在藝術，2021）等；聯展則有：「無序樂章 – 聲音藝術之旅」（國立臺灣美術館，臺中，2025）、「城市之音-國際聲音藝術節」（比利時，2015）、「亞洲時基：新媒體藝術節 – 微型城市」（美國，2013）等。他曾獲「BBA Artist Prize首獎」(德國，2025)、「北美館X-Site徵件計畫首獎」（2023）、「臺北美術獎優選」（2013）等獎項。
Chung-Kun WANG, born in 1982 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, currently lives and works in Taipei. He holds an MFA from the Graduate Institute of of Arts and Technology School of Film and New Media at Taipei National University of the Arts.
WANG specializes in sound and kinetic art, exploring interdisciplinary collaborations across music, theater, and dance. His sound-based works exhibit a strong sense of musicality, aiming to liberate abstract sound and transform it into a more tangible musical experience. For him, sound is not only a vehicle for conceptual transmission but also an emotional medium that integrates into real-life scenarios, allowing the audience to analyze it rationally while experiencing music emotionally. His kinetic installations often incorporate rhythmic movements such as rotation, breath-like pulses, and flickering lights, immersing viewers in a spatialized sonic experience.
In recent years, WANG has extended his practice into public art, using kinetic sculptures and sound interventions to investigate the relationship between humans and their environment while exploring natural patterns. His works invite audiences to re-examine everyday sonic and spatial experiences, offering a distinctive perspective and innovative approach.
Recent solo exhibitions include “Sensational Flow – Chung-Kun WANG Solo Exhibition” (MOCA Taipei, 2022-2023), “Breezy Afternoon – Chung-Kun WANG Solo Exhibition” (Project Fulfill art space, 2021). Group exhibitions include “Of Anarchy in Music: More Journeys in Sound”(National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, 2025),“City Sonic – International Sound Art Festival” (Belgium, 2015) and “2013 Asian Time-Based Media Festival – Micro City” (USA, 2013). His accolades include the First Prize in the “BBA Artist Prize”(Germany, 2025), the First Prize in the “Program X-site” (TFAM, 2023) and an Honorable Mention in the “Taipei Art Awards” (2013).
